NCIC Concordia HKDSE Division will integrate the essence of the Chinese and Western education in curriculum planning and teaching, pioneering an innovative and international Hong Kong program with Bay Area characteristics. From the Grade 1 to Grade 9, we adopt a “biliteracy and trilingualism” approach as teaching language on a subject basis. We will also adopt the American Common Core State Standards as the curriculum core, and integrate the essences and advantages of the American curriculum with the Hong Kong curriculum standards to achieve the internationalization of the Hong Kong curriculum. In Grade 10 to Grade 12, we will adopt a three-track teaching strategy of “HKDSE, GCSE+A-Level, AP”. Students are prepared to enter famous universities in mainland China, renowned universities in Hong Kong and overseas through either one of these three channels. Thus we could offer students with diversified further study choices, including placement at elite universities worldwide.

In recent years, the government administration has vigorously advocated a coordinated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Hong Kong, as an educational hub, has educational practices that embrace both the Chinese and Western insights; its success in education is recognized internationally. In high education, many universities in Hong Kong have topped the QS rankings, making them the top choice for students. With the advantages of a Hong Kong approach to education, the new school is committed to providing more diversified and quality education options for families in the Greater Bay Area, to meet the development needs of the era.
