Nanshan Chinese International College Concordia HKDSE Division is co-organized by Nanshan Chinese and International College and the Concordia Education Group in Hong Kong. Concordia Education Group owns many schools in Hong Kong, including top private international schools, aided primary and secondary schools and kindergartens. The Group has been providing excellent educational services in Hong Kong for decades and its achievement is well recognized by the community. The Group has very wide connections with universities and schools in America and Asia that are under the umbrella of the Lutheran family. The Group is dedicated to provide Hong Kong style quality primary cum secondary education in Nanshan Chinese International College, to add an additional strength to the College.

We are delighted to appoint Dr. Darnay Chan who is an experienced and well-known school principal in Hong Kong with excellent track records to be the full-time and resident Consultant Principal for Nanshan Chinese International College Concordia HKDSE Division, to provide professional services and to set a direction in administrative planning. Dr. Chan has been engaged in school management for most of his career time. He is the Founding Principal of Po Leung Kuk Vicwood K.T. Chong Sixth Form College, a very prestigious and sought-after matriculation school in Hong Kong when the AL Examinations were screening assessments for university entrance, sending several hundreds of its Form 7 leavers to universities in Hong Kong every year, and mostly to HKU, CUHK or HKUST, the success rate was 100 percent.

Dr. Chan was also the Principal of Concordia International School in Hong Kong until the year 2017. He built up and established the school from scratches. Under Dr. Chan's able hands and leadership, the school went through the WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges, USA) affiliation cycles, and was finally awarded full accreditation status the next year he left the school. As Dr. Chan completed over 95 percent of the planning and preparation work to achieve the accreditation status, credit should be given to him for this mile-stone achievement of the school. 

Nanshan Chinese International College is excited to collaborate with this wonderful and entrepreneurial school leader to build a great success in the Concordia Division. Dr. Chan is committed to assisting Nanshan Chinese International College to build up the Concordia HKDSE Division, laying a strong foundation and making it another success after the Sixth Form College which he founded in Hong Kong in the nineties. He is ready to contribute in developing the Greater Bay Area as advocated by the Central Government.
