The new school encompasses the challenges and opportunities of the Greater Bay Areas and also has a team of excellent teachers. It is further supported by a team of top academic experts from Hong Kong (Hong Kong Concordia Education Group) to plan the program. The first-class teaching team comprises of excellent native-speaking teachers, senior locally trained teachers from renowned universities and excellent and professional teachers from Hong Kong, making a strong and academic team for the construction and delivery of diversified, innovative and integrated courses.

Our consultant team would foster cooperation opportunities in areas such as education information sharing, talent search, teacher training and administration consultation services. The team would also provide services in exchange studies, oversea study tours, host support for visits to Hong Kong’s top schools and universities, and would also foster interflow between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, promoting cultural integration between these two places.

Mr. T. Du has been working in the educational sector in Hong Kong for over 20 years. During this period of time, he has been a teacher, vice principal and now principal of Concordia International School, Hong Kong. He has a full understanding on the operation and good practices of aided schools in Hong Kong. Over the years, he has been leading actively his colleagues in Concordia to develop the school’s international curriculum based on the Common Cores and the American standards, and training his team to plan and develop Understanding-by-Design curriculum units on Atlas Rubicon. He contributes greatly on building up the administration and operation of the school and well-being of his students.  Mr. Du is continually seeking for further improvement to perfect his work. He is an experienced school leader on curriculum mapping, school assessments and school improvements, such as teachers’ accountability and preparing and developing the school into a data-driven school. Mr. Du also has substantial experiences on school accreditation with WASC as his effort helped to secure initial accreditation with WASC for Concordia in 2015 and full accreditation in 2018. Mr. Du is excited to collaborate and to work together with all of our excellent staff of the Concordia Division to build a success based upon the Concordia Education Group and Nanshan Chinese International College’s strong foundation in the Bay Area.
